Coveris Advanced Coatings recently exhibited at the European Wound Management Association 2017 (EWMA) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. EWMA is an umbrella organisation linking wound management associations across Europe and a multi-disciplinary group bringing together individuals and organisations interested in wound management.
This was Coveris Advanced Coatings’ third time exhibiting at EWMA, and once again it was a great success! Visitors were updated on our company’s progress to become a truly global supplier of inspire® products. Coveris Advanced Coatings can now supply inspire® films to our customers from each of our validated manufacturing facilities – Wrexham, UK and North Carolina, USA.
We presented several new products, including our new aliphatic hydrophilic foam which has attracted great interest. The ability to be supplied readily embossed offers a great way to brand and maximise the total absorption power of the foam. It can be offered ready laminated to absorbent polymers and many other layers. Our new thin backing foam was also well received since it offers a truly self-supporting layer with a softness and extensibility that means it really is a delight to wear!
