Coveris recently exhibited at Compamed 2016 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Coveris presented their products and services and demonstrated the synergies of having medical packaging and medical device components from one company.
Coveris Advanced Coatings’ new hydrophilic foam was well received and the benefits of using a foam that does not yellow on sterilisation or in UV light, and offering improvements in absorption and retention, provoked a lot of interest.
A newly developed consumer foam for first aid dressings offers users extended wear time as well as more comfortable wearing. This was again very positively received.
Our standard range of coloured and printed polyurethane films, coupled with pattern coated adhesives remain the key for many of our customers, old and new, that are looking at new products that give them the edge in advance wound care dressings.
