Coveris Advanced Coatings recently ranked in the Top 300 biggest companies in Wales reported by WalesOnline.co.uk. The Wales Top 300, 2014, sponsored by Grant Thornton, was compiled by Professor David Pickernell and his team at the University of South Wales.
Coveris Advanced Coatings moved up 24 places from its previous position. The company has extensive experience in the coating and converting of film, foil and paper products. Coveris Advanced Coatings also develop, manufacture and distribute precision-coated papers, films and speciality substrates for digital imaging, electronics, medical and optical technologies.
Coveris Advanced Coatings is based on Wrexham Industrial Estate in North Wales, and has been manufacturing for 50 years. The company also has sites in North Carolina, USA and Massachusetts, USA and a converting and distribution centre in Guangzhou, China.
The company was also ranked in the 2014 Top 100 list of manufacturing companies in Wales by insider magazine. The list covers all of Wales and includes sectors such as food and drink, pharmaceutical, technology and advanced manufacturing.
