Coveris Advanced Coatings recently exhibited at ICE Europe 2015, held in Munich, Germany. ICE Europe is one of the leading exhibitions relating to the coating and converting of paper, polymeric films and foil. A total of 7,040 visitors from 71 countries attended ICE Europe 2015; these numbers evidently expressing the popularity of this global show.

The company joined 439 exhibitors to promote their products and services. Having been regular exhibitors at ICE Europe for many years the exhibition provided Coveris Advanced Coatings with an excellent forum for showcasing its custom coating expertise.

The company is a global leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of precision coated papers, films and speciality substrates for digital imaging, electronics, medical and optical technologies. The company also offers unique speciality films and coating services including contract coating, toll coating and converting.

The company also discussed its complete design and manufacturing capability, of which there is one in its UK and USA facility. Many clients engage with the company to develop opportunities from small scale laboratory coating through to full scale production.

With the recent addition of the 133 Coater in the company’s USA facility in Matthews, North Carolina has been the introduction of a 120ft drier. This length of drier helps Coveris Advanced Coatings to deliver high line speeds and cost effective products for customers. In addition the company’s UK site in Wrexham, North Wales has just commissioned a new state of the art UV curing capability. This creates the potential to produce harder anti-scratch coatings required for tablets, phones and similar products.
